The Prodigy are pioneers of electronic music, blending rave, breakbeat, and punk energy to create a sound that redefined the genre. Formed in 1990 by Liam Howlett, the group exploded onto the scene with their debut album Experience before cementing their status with Music for the Jilted Generation and the global smash The Fat of the Land. Anthems like “Firestarter,” “Breathe,” and “Smack My Bitch Up” pushed boundaries, both musically and visually, making them one of the most influential acts of their era.
Renowned for their high-energy live shows, The Prodigy have remained a dominant force in electronic music for over three decades. Despite the loss of frontman Keith Flint in 2019, the group continues to honour his legacy, delivering their signature raw energy to fans worldwide. Their impact on dance music and popular culture is undeniable, influencing generations of artists while staying true to their rebellious roots.
