Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish has redefined pop music with her genre-blending sound, whispery vocals, and bold artistic vision. Rising to fame with her 2019 debut album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, she became the youngest artist in history to win all four major GRAMMY categories in a single night. Her introspective lyricism and dark, avant-garde aesthetic have set her apart, making her a global phenomenon.

Eilish continued her reign with Happier Than Ever (2021), showcasing a more mature, reflective sound. Now, with her highly anticipated third album HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, she embarks on a new era, pushing boundaries while maintaining her signature authenticity. Known for her electrifying live performances, she continues to captivate audiences worldwide, solidifying her place as one of the most influential artists of her generation.

Her 2023 debut album, WEEDKILLER, expanded her artistic universe, blending dystopian storytelling with hard-hitting production.

Chris Stapleton

Kentucky-born artist Chris Stapleton is a 10x Grammy, 16x CMA and 15x ACM Award-winner and one of the country’s most respected and beloved musicians. In the past year, he’s been named Entertainer of the Year at the 58th ACM Awards—resulting in the prestigious ACM Triple Crown Award—and Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2022 CMA Awards—his sixth time earning the award, setting the record for most wins ever in the category.

The accolades follow Stapleton’s most recent album, 2020’s acclaimed Starting Over, which also won three awards at the 67th Annual GRAMMYs: Best Country Album, Best Country Solo Performance (“You Should Probably Leave”) and Best Country Song (“Cold”) in addition to earning Album of the Year honours at both the CMA and ACM Awards.

SUPPORT

Marcus King

A guitarist who plays and sings with an impressive degree of seasoned maturity and passion, Marcus King delivers a hearty mixture of soul, blues, rock, and jazz that has made him a star on the blues and jam band circuits. On his debut album, 2015’s Soul Insight, King and his band generated a powerful, guitar-based attack rooted in high-impact blues and southern soul, while 2016’s The Marcus King Band took a more eclectic approach, with the more dynamic numbers revealing a gentler aspect, showing the influence of gospel and folk.

2020’s El Dorado was King’s first album as a solo act and he put a greater emphasis on his strengths as a vocalist, while his love of blues-based classic rock of the ’70s dominated 2022’s hard-edged Young Blood.

Cigarettes After Sex

Cigarettes After Sex is a dream pop outfit known for their ethereal sound, intimate lyricism, and signature atmospheric production. Formed in 2008 by vocalist and songwriter Greg Gonzalez, the band found widespread acclaim with their self-titled debut album in 2017, which featured standout tracks like “Apocalypse” and “K.” Their hypnotic blend of reverb-drenched guitars, hushed vocals, and cinematic storytelling has resonated deeply with fans, earning them a dedicated global following.

Following the success of their sophomore album Cry (2019), Cigarettes After Sex continue to refine their melancholic yet romantic aesthetic, drawing inspiration from film, nostalgia, and timeless love stories. Their 2024 release, X’s, expands on these themes, incorporating influences from ’70s and ’80s slow-dance pop ballads. Known for their minimalist yet emotionally charged live performances, the band has toured extensively, captivating audiences with their dreamlike soundscapes and evocative lyricism.

Tenacious D

Rightfully hailed as “the greatest band on Earth,” the acoustic metal/comedy duo Tenacious D was an unlikely success story.

Actually, Tenacious D was probably so successful precisely because they were so unlikely: few people would imagine that two guys bashing on acoustic guitars, singing songs like a tribute to the greatest song in the world (because they forgot how the greatest song in the world went after conquering the Devil with it), became one of the biggest cult bands of the late ’90s and 2000s.

But the sheer charisma, humour, and energy — not to mention the inspired songwriting — of singers/guitarists/actors Jack Black and Kyle Gass (aka JB, Jables, KG, and Kage, among other aliases) took them from L.A.’s underground comedy scene to their own series on HBO and a major-label album deal.
