Jimmy Barnes is hitting the road to celebrate his landmark album For The Working Class Man with the Working Class Man 40th Anniversary Tour.
Joining Jimmy on stage are three of the biggest stars from the Working Class Man era who continue to dominate today – Icehouse, Ian Moss, and Kate Cebrano.
Released in December 1985, For The Working Class Man shot straight to number one and cemented Jimmy’s solo career. As the authors of The 100 Best Australian Albums wrote, “It defined both him and much of Australia.” The album held the top spot for seven weeks and has sold more than 500,000 copies in Australia.
Barnesy will perform the album in full, from “I’d Die To Be With You Tonight” to “Paradise,” along with classics from his chart-topping catalogue.
