Keshi —the acclaimed Houston-born singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist— is set to embark on a headlining world tour in support of his forthcoming sophomore album, Requiem.
The 35-city tour will touch down at many of the world’s most iconic arenas, including Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena.
The world tour announcement comes on the heels of keshi’s latest release, “Say,” and the announcement of his
anxiously awaited new full-length record, Requiem, which will be released on September 13th via Island Records.
Keshi has emerged as a creative alchemist of the highest order, layering universally resonant hooks atop inventive and immersive soundscapes. He materialised out of Houston, TX with the EP trilogy—skeletons (2019), bandaids (2020), and always (2020).
In 2022, keshi reached critical mass with his debut LP, GABRIEL. It tallied billions of streams fueled by “LIMBO,” “UNDERSTAND,” “GET IT,” and more. keshi notably achieved the “Top New Artist Debut of 2022,” scoring “the highest first-week sales of the year for a debut album” landing him on the Top 20 of the Billboard 200.
He concluded the LP’s sold-out tour cycle with two sold-out nights at Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY and a pair of sold-out dates at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. Now, he draws everyone into his world with 2024’s Requiem.
SUPPORT
A versatile singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Mac Ayres emerged in 2017 with a breezy, sometimes lo-fi amalgam of R&B, soul, funk, vaporwave, and jazz.
He released his debut album, Something to Feel, in 2018 and received considerable acclaim for his third full-length effort, 2021’s Magic 8ball.
Citing influences like D’Angelo and J Dilla, the resulting Drive Slow and 2018 long-player Something to Feel helped Ayres build a loyal fan base, which only grew larger with the releases of 2019’s Juicebox and 2021’s Magic 8ball.
