Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Boublil and Schönberg’s LES MISÉRABLES THE ARENA SPECTACULAR has commenced its World Tour and will arrive in Melbourne with strictly limited performances in May 2025.
As the world’s longest-running musical enters its 40th revolutionary year in London, this spectacular production features an extraordinary and exciting new design specifically created for larger venues, with a cast and orchestra of over 65.

The Australian production will feature Les Mis stars and new talent, led by Alfie Boe and Killian Donnelly as Jean Valjean, and Michael Ball and Bradley Jaden as Javert. Joining them are Matt Lucas and Marina Prior as The Thénardiers, Rachelle Ann Go as Fantine, Jac Yarrow as Marius, Beatrice Penny-Touré as Cosette, and James D. Gish as Enjolras.
Victor Hugo’s classic tale is an enthralling story of broken dreams, unrequited love, passion, sacrifice, and redemption—a timeless testament to the human spirit.
