Award winning folk-rock band Mumford & Sons return to Melbourne as part of the 2026 Prizefighter Australia & New Zealand Tour.
The British Grammy award winning folk-rock band will support their forthcoming new album Prizefighter in an unforgettable night at Rod Laver Arena in 2026. Having performed a sold-out one-night-only return at the Sydney Opera House back in March, Mumford & Sons will now head back with their full-scale arena show in Melbourne for one of the most in-demand and hotly anticipated live shows for 2026.

Mumford & Sons formed in West London in 2008 and quickly rose from small gigs to headlining festivals, winning Grammys, and topping charts worldwide. The renowned band will release their sixth studio album, Prizefighter, on February 13, which was co-produced and co-written with The National’s Aaron Dessner at his Long Pond Studio and features collaborations with Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton and Gigi Perez. The new project comes less than a year after their album RUSHMERE, which debuted at No. 1 in the U.K. this past spring and fuelled a sold-out global arena tour.
Along the way, they’ve collaborated with legends like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and Brandi Carlile, among others, building genuine creative partnerships. Live performance has defined their story, from global tours and community stopovers to playing the White House. Through creative changes and evolving sounds, the band remains driven by passion, continually finding new ways to connect with audiences.
