To celebrate 20 years since their iconic debut album, Hot Fuss, The Killers will be returning to Melbourne this December.
In even more exciting news for fans, The Killers have confirmed three concerts. On Thursday and Saturday, they’ll perform their Rebel Diamonds show, featuring back-to-back chart-toppers from across their extensive career. Friday will offer something special – a performance of Hot Fuss in its entirety, with a few extra surprises thrown in.
No strangers to our shores, The Killers have been firmly adopted as favourite sons of Australia, even delivering a universally acclaimed performance at the 2017 AFL Grand Final. Most recently, they released a new single, “Bright Lights,” a track lauded by Rolling Stone as ‘anthemic’ and by NME as ‘euphoric.’ The band has been performing the new single during their sold-out Hot Fuss residency in their hometown of Las Vegas, earning widespread acclaim.

- There are several options for your journey to Rod Laver Arena:
- Public transport is the quickest and easiest option. Before you attend, plan ahead and allow extra travel time for any major disruptions.
- Parking is available at the Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard). We strongly recommend pre-booking; drive-up spaces are subject to availability. Bookings close at midnight the night before the event.
- Note: Accessible parking must be pre-booked via Ticketek.
- To ensure a smooth entry into the venue, download your tickets to your Digital Wallet.
- Bags must be A4 size or smaller. Larger bags are not permitted.
- Cloaking is available via the Information Desk (Gate 4) or Show Court 3. Any prohibited items listed in the venue Conditions of Entry will not be accepted for cloaking.
- All retail outlets are cashless. Any transactions must be made using a credit or debit card.
- If you have purchased a VIP package, the event promoter will be in contact with details regarding your experience.

The Killers
As they’ve matured from their indie dance-rock roots into torchbearers of new wave- and Americana-inspired anthems, Las Vegas rock quartet the Killers have become global headliners and one of the most beloved American bands of the early 21st century.
With a mix of ’80s-styled synth pop and fashionista charm, the band’s multi-platinum 2004 debut, Hot Fuss, became one of the decade’s biggest releases, spawning four hit singles — including their most enduring hit, “Mr. Brightside”.
After the stylistic shift on 2006 sophomore effort Sam’s Town — which de-emphasized the band’s new wave revivalism in favour of the heartland rock of Bruce Springsteen and Rattle and Hum-era U2 — they struck a balance between their two sides on a consistent run of Top Ten releases that peaked with 2017’s chart-topping Wonderful Wonderful.
