Hailed by the Los Angeles Times as one of Nashville’s most “reliable and sophisticated songwriters”, GRAMMY, ACM and CMA Award winner and Grand Ole Opry member Ashley McBryde delivers hard truths with soulful ferocity. The Arkansas native’s music blends timeless country with blistering rock and roll, earning acclaim from Rolling Stone and SPIN, which named her the “genre’s smartest lyricist”.
McBryde’s new album, Wild, unfolds across 11 tracks, drawing on her upbringing in the Ozarks, a fundamentalist childhood and the hard-won reckoning that led to her sobriety. Equal parts daring autobiography and celebration of her untamed nature, the record marks a new chapter for McBryde, who hopes its songs inspire listeners to reconnect with the “wild little kid” still inside them.
