Hans Zimmer is redefining the live concert experience once again as the multiple Oscar- and GRAMMY-winning composer returns to Melbourne this October with a visionary new arena production: Hans Zimmer Live – The Next Level.

The Next Level sees Zimmer push the boundaries of sound, staging, and scale, marking his boldest live chapter yet. With its newly designed, striking architectural stage concept – blending electronic sound design with powerful orchestration – The Next Level reflects Zimmer’s relentless drive to push artistic boundaries, explore new paths, and continually evolve his sound and vision.

Performing alongside his powerhouse 19-piece band and featuring the esteemed vocals of Australian sensation Lisa Gerrard amongst other vocalists, Zimmer’s ambitious new live production has already stormed Europe, completing 50 sold-out arena shows across 17 countries and thrilling more than 600,000 fans.

Important Event Information
  • Melbourne Park is introducing AXS as its new Official Ticketing Partner. Please note the following ticketing conditions for your event:
    • Ticketek ticket delivery for Hans Zimmer has been intentionally delayed. Your tickets will be issued by AXS by mid-September.
    • If you purchased Ticketek tickets and don’t already have an AXS account, one will be created using the email address associated with your Ticketek booking. To access your account, reset your AXS password and follow the prompts to complete your account set up.
    • If you purchased AXS tickets, download the AXS app and sign in to your account before arriving to ensure a smooth entry.
    • Visit our Ticketing page for more information about your tickets and frequently asked questions. Contact AXS for ticketing support, including assistance with ticket delivery if your tickets have not arrived by mid-September.
  • There are several options for your journey to Rod Laver Arena:
    • Public transport is the quickest and easiest option. Before you attend, plan ahead and allow extra travel time for any major disruptions.
    • Parking is available at the Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard). We strongly recommend pre-booking as drive-up spaces are subject to availability. Bookings close at midnight the night before the event. 
      • Note: Accessible parking must be booked in advance by visiting your event page on AXS and selecting Accessible Parking under Available Offers. Book early, as spaces are limited. Accessible parking bookings made through Ticketek for Hans Zimmer before 22 August remain valid.
  • Bags must be A4 size or smaller, and larger bags are not permitted.
  • Cloaking is available via the Information Desk at Gate 4, or Show Court 3. Any prohibited items listed in the venue Conditions of Entry will not be accepted for cloaking.
  • All retail outlets are cashless. Any transactions must be made using a credit or debit card.
  • If you have purchased a VIP package, the event promoter will be in contact with details regarding your experience.

Hans Zimmer

Hans Zimmer has scored more than 500 projects across film, television and other media, with his work contributing to more than $30 billion at the global box office. Over the course of his career, he has received two Academy Awards, three Golden Globes, five GRAMMYs, an American Music Award, seven Emmy nominations and a Tony nomination. His acclaimed scores include the Dune franchise, Interstellar, Top Gun: Maverick, No Time to Die, Gladiator, Rain Man, The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Thelma & Louise, The Last Samurai, 12 Years a Slave, Blade Runner 2049, Dunkirk and F1.

Beyond composing, Zimmer has also built a major career as a touring artist, recently completing his first North American and European tours, alongside performances across the Middle East and at Formula 1’s Singapore Grand Prix.
