One of the world’s most popular and acclaimed live bands, Simple Minds return to Melbourne this February as part of their V Tour 2027, celebrating 5 decades of music.

Joining the tour as very special guest is Gary Numan, making his long-awaited return Down Under for the first time in over a decade.

The V Tour 2027 promises a panoramic live music experience, an all-encompassing celebration of music across five decades from a band who have not only managed to remain relevant to each new generation but continue to shape and perform with the same energy that has defined their career.

Important Event Information
  • Melbourne Park is introducing AXS as its new Official Ticketing Partner. Please note the following ticketing conditions for your event:
    • Ticketek ticket delivery for Simple Minds has been intentionally delayed. Your tickets will be issued by AXS by mid-October.
    • If you purchased Ticketek tickets and don’t already have an AXS account, one will be created using the email address associated with your Ticketek booking. To access your account, reset your AXS password and follow the prompts to complete your account set up.
    • If you purchased AXS tickets, download the AXS app and sign in to your account before arriving to ensure a smooth entry.
    • Visit our Ticketing page for more information about your tickets and frequently asked questions. Contact AXS for ticketing support, including assistance with ticket delivery if your tickets have not arrived by mid-October.
  • There are several options for your journey to Rod Laver Arena:
    • Public transport is the quickest and easiest option. Before you attend, plan ahead and allow extra travel time for any major disruptions.
    • Parking is available at the Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard). We strongly recommend pre-booking as drive-up spaces are subject to availability. Bookings close at midnight the night before the event. 
      • Note: Accessible parking must be booked in advance by visiting your event page on AXS and selecting Accessible Parking under Available Offers. Book early, as spaces are limited. Accessible parking bookings made through Ticketek for Simple Minds before 22 August 2026 remain valid.
  • Bags must be A4 size or smaller, and larger bags are not permitted.
  • Cloaking is available via the Information Desk at Gate 4, or Show Court 3. Any prohibited items listed in the venue Conditions of Entry will not be accepted for cloaking.
  • All retail outlets are cashless. Any transactions must be made using a credit or debit card.
  • If you have purchased a VIP package, the event promoter will be in contact with details regarding your experience.

Simple Minds

Scottish rock band Simple Minds have enjoyed a remarkable career since the release of their debut album Life in a Day, evolving into one of the defining acts of the 1980s.
